Mr. Citrin is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Alabama Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the Northern and Southern Divisions of the United States District Court of Alabama. He is on the registered Bar Registry of Preeminent Lawyers, is AV (top) Rated, was elected to the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, is Board Certified as a Civil Trial Lawyer by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and is on the Board of Directors for the Alabama Civil Justice Foundation.

Elizabeth A. Citrin was born in Hollywood, Florida, on December 28, 1959. She obtained a B.A. in Fine Arts and Economics from Vanderbilt University in 1981. She began her career as a television producer and writer for CBS News, Lifetime Television and WWOR TV, Channel 9, among others. Ms. Citrin attended law school in 1994 at Pace University School of Law in White Plains, New York, and studied environmental law under Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. She also served as Case Note and Comment Editor of Pace Law Review and was a Ranking Scholar for three semesters.

Following law school, Ms. Citrin completed a one year federal clerkship as a Motions Law Clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She then worked for five years as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department, where she handled many high liability cases in the Special Litigation Unit. Ms. Citrin returned to television for one year to work as a producer on a start-up court show for CBS Inc./King World. In 2002, she moved her family to Daphne, Alabama, where she practiced complex litigation defense work for a large law firm in Mobile.

Ms. Citrin joined the firm in June, 2004. She is admitted to practice law in Alabama, Mississippi, New York and Connecticut, as well as before the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits, the District Courts of Southern, Middle and Northern Alabama, the District Courts of Southern and Northern Mississippi, and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She is a frequent speaker to civic clubs and organizations. She is a member of Paul W. Brock Inns of Court, Alabama Association for Justice, South Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, Mobile Bar Association (former Chair, Speaker’s Bureau, Member & Panelist Bench and Bar Committee, Baldwin County Bar Association, Mobile Junior League, Girl Scouts of the Deep South Council, Inc., Alpha Omicron Pi Alumni Association, and Bayside Academy Parents’ Association. Ms. Citrin is also on the Board of the National Conference on Community & Justice (NCCJ), and the South Baldwin Community Theatre (SBCT).

Steven P. Savarese, Jr.STEVEN P. SAVARESE, JR.

Steven P. Savarese, Jr. was born in El Dorado, Kansas, on March 25, 1981. He is a 1999 graduate of Daphne High School where he participated in football, soccer, and track.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree (Biology) with Special Honors from the University of Alabama in 2003. While at the University of Alabama, Mr. Savarese was a Capstone Scholar and Me Wane Scholar, received numerous honors and awards, and was a member and officer of the Delta Chi Fraternity. Upon graduation, Mr. Savarese attended the University of Alabama School of Law where he was Vice-President of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (Alabama Chapter), competed on the University of Alabama National Trial Advocacy Team, and was awarded the George Peach Taylor Award for excellence in trial advocacy.

Mr. Savarese joined Citrin Law Firm, P.C. in August 2006. He is admitted to practice law in Alabama and before the Southern Division of the United States District of Alabama. Mr. Savarese is a member of the Alabama State Bar, Baldwin County Bar Association, Mobile County Bar Association, and South Alabama Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Savarese dedicates his practice to damages litigation, including personal injury, wrongful death, fraud, and truck and automobile accidents.
